We're offering 2 different workshops each day:

  • Workshops for young people (under 18 year olds) from 12:00 - 15:00
  • Workshops for older people (18 - 118 year olds) from 17:00 - 20:00. We'll show you that old dogs can learn new tricks! ;)
Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=176996019036280

Why you should come to the workshops:

  1. They are a fun and healthy way to stay active.
  2. They are a physical workout which at the same time exercises different areas of our brains.
  3. They are a great way to improve:
  • coordination, motor skills, reactions, rhythm, balance and body awareness
  • patience, concentration, focus and problem solving abilities
  • confidence, self esteem and learning how to learn

4.They are a fun way to socialise and to relax.
5.Anyone can learn to juggle! ANYONE!

People always say "I could never juggle I just don't have the co-ordination" You don't have the co-ordination because you've never juggled!!!!

Workshops take place at Lettercollum, Timoleague, Co.Cork

Workshops costs 30euro per day or 75euro for 3 days
There are only 10 spaces available per day so book your space early!

Motion Festival News:

17/02/11

Motion Festival will not be happening this year. The Motion Festival organisation has decided to take a year off.  Now this doesn't mean that the festival will not happen again!  But it won't happen this year. Like most festivals, Motion Festival takes up a lot of time and energy.  Now after 6 incredible years, it is time to take a step back, refresh, and get inspired for the years to come.

A big thank you to everyone who has gotten involved in the past years to help make this event happen, especially to my parents Con and Karen for their incredible support over the years, to Anne Cullinane for all of her advice and support, to all the artists who came to share their skills, to the organisation team, Hazel McLoughlin, Darragh McLoughlin, Guillaume Cousson, Chloe de Buyl Pisco and Eimhin Shortt, to everyone who volunteered and got involved and helped to make this happen along the way.

See you next time, keep learning, keep moving, keep manipulating (in the best sense of the word)!

Ronan McLoughlin
